Mid-Week Sailing has returned

admin June 9th, 2008

Hi Fellow sailors,

We enjoyed a couple nice days of sailing at Nockamixon over the weekend.  Hopefully the hot weather will break by Wednesday as predicted and the thunderstorms will be over so we can go to the Marsh on Wednesday.  If the plan changes we will e-mail.  Plan on getting that boat out-the Regatta is coming up soon.

Our midweek sails will be drawing to aclose very soon. We usually stop going as a planned outing mid-September. But this does not mean that you can’t call a fellow member and invite them to go to the lake. This is especially true if you happen to have a free afternoon as the fall offers some fine sailing and the powerboat traffic is usually less after Labor Day.

This year has been pretty active but has had mismatches of boats at the lake and crew looking for a ride. In any event why not get up to the lake 8/27, 9/3, or 9/10 fora little sailing and possibly a tuneup for the last two races of the year 9/27 and 10/25? Hope to see you there. Tom Stoner 610-223-3593

p.s. Sorry that I have not been posting to the website this summer. I have been e-mailing to those who were interested and if you want to get on my BMSA mailing list call me.
